Air conditioning made easy

As a world leader in air conditioning and one of the largest manufacturers of air conditioning in the world Daikin can be trusted to keep your climate at the perfect temperature, after all, air conditioning is Daikin’s main focus. Around the globe Daikin has invested billions of dollar in research and development to produce air conditioning products that are energy efficient, quiet, simple to use, and reliable even in New Zealand’s colder climate.

Single Split

This is currently the most popular and most affordable type of heat pump.
The two main options are the hi-wall and floor console machines.
A single split system consists of a single outdoor compressor motor connected to a single indoor air handler. You cannot connect more than one heat pump to a single split compressor motor.
The most popular type of installation is ‘back to back’ where the compressor motor is located outside directly behind the indoor air handler. The compressor motor can be connected up to 30 metres away from the air handler depending on suitable access and we will work with you to ensure the internal and external placement of any hardware best suits your particular circumstances.

Multi Systems

Multi System heat pumps are similar to single split systems but the compressor motor can connect to a number of indoor units. A typical multi system can connect to 4 or 5 indoor air handlers while a large multi system can connect to up to 9 indoor air handlers. Multi System heat pumps are a very cost effective option when considering heating multiple rooms, all from one compressor motor that can be hidden away from view. Our team will give you great advice on which multi system is best for you and will design a system that provides year round comfort for you and your family.

Ducted Systems

Ducted systems are often considered the ultimate in home heat pumps due to their quiet, unobtrusive, all enveloping nature. With a ducted system the air handler is hidden away in the ceiling space and is connected to supply vents in the ceiling. Warm (or cool) air is gently distributed via the ceiling vents throughout the entire house to provide a consistent temperature in every room. At HPAC we very carefully design our ducted systems so that the right equipment is selected for your heating / cooling needs and the correct level of air flow per room is achieved so that the system is properly balanced. A ducted system that is not properly designed and balanced can potentially be noisy and draughty so it is important that you choose a suitably skilled company such as HPAC when selecting a ducted system.
